Mr. Baisie was appointed to the Stanbic Bank Ghana Board on June 7, 2022.

Career Highlights

• John has held engineering and operations leadership roles over three decades in the United States. He is currently in a leadership role at Apple Inc. in Silicon Valley, California.  In his leadership roles in various companies, John has led international technology transfers, digital transformation initiatives, global supplier negotiations and operations strategies.

• He started his career designing and building automated manufacturing lines; for TRW   a major supplier in the automotive industry, producing crash airbag sensors, for JBL - a top audio systems company, for Rain Bird - a leading sprinkler and irrigations systems company.  At Rain Bird, John rose through the ranks to General Manager, running several manufacturing operations in the United States, Europe and Mexico.  After serving as Director of Operations at Gibraltar Industries and Senior SSP Aerospace, he joined Apple.  At Apple, John initially led a sustaining engineering team where he expanded the team’s influence internationally.  He currently leads the Modules Components Group – a team of Manufacturing Design Engineers and Manufacturing Quality Engineers.  He also leads an Inclusion and Diversity initiative at Apple.

• John Kofi Baisie holds a master’s degree In Business Administration from The Paul Merage School of Business, University of California, Irvine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (cum laude) in Engineering Technology and Operations Management from California Polytechnic University.
