Mr. Engelbrecht was appointed to the Stanbic Bank Ghana Board on June 7, 2022.

Career Highlights

  • He is the current Standard Bank Regional Chief Executive for West Africa with over 22 years’ work experience in various roles in the group. He was the Head, Client Coverage, Africa Regions prior to his role as the Regional Chief Executive for West Africa.

  • He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) from the Rand Afrikaans University in South Africa. He has also completed the Advanced Strategic Management Program at the IMD Business School in Switzerland and is a Chartered Accountant.
