Sarah-Mary Frimpong was appointed to the Stanbic Bank Board in 2020.

Career Highlights

  • She was the first female Assurance Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Ghana, where she worked for 22 years. Prior to this, she was the Acting Chief Accountant at the Ghana National Trading Corporation Limited Accra, Ghana after working as the Divisional Accountant at the Bottling Division.  
  • She was a founding member of ACCA Ghana Branch and the first Treasurer. She served as the Chairperson of ACCA Ghana Network Panel in 2013-2015.  In 2013, she was the ACCA Ghana Representative at the International Assembly, United Kingdom.  She was also a member of the ACCA Global Forum for Audit and Assurance, United Kingdom for a number of years.  
  • She is a product of the London School of Accountancy and Metropolitan College, London. She qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in August 1986.  She is a fellow of ACCA and a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).
