Stanbic Toastmasters Club Presidents Honored in Côte d’Ivoire

Three Toastmasters Club Presidents from Stanbic Bank Ghana have earned recognition at the 2025 District 94 Toastmasters Conference held in Côte d’Ivoire for achieving the highest possible distinction in club performance.

Jessica Boakyewaa Howard, President of Stanbic Kumasi L&D Toastmasters Club; Martina Boateng, President of Stanbic Spintex L&D Toastmasters Club; and Akua Ofori - Koranteng, President of Stanbic Heights L&D Toastmasters Club, were each honored with the “President’s Distinguished Club” award. The trio led their respective clubs to achieve a perfect score of 10 out of 10 in the Distinguished Club Program.

To celebrate this milestone, the three presidents, accompanied by leadership from Toastmasters Ghana, paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank, Kwamina Asomaning.

Speaking during the visit, Gloria Bempong, Head of Executive Banking and Affluent Express Centre at Stanbic Bank and Assistant Director, Program Quality, Division C of Ghana Toastmasters, applauded the commitment of the bank’s clubs and leadership in building a vibrant Toastmasters culture within the institution. “We are extremely proud that year after year, Stanbic Bank Toastmasters clubs continue to raise the bar. The consistency with which they excel aligns with the bank’s own values of excellence, growth, and leadership,” she said.

Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank, Kwamina Asomaning, congratulated the honorees and expressed appreciation for the impact the Toastmasters program is having on the staff. “I have witnessed how Toastmasters is helping shape better versions of our people. I commend you for this remarkable achievement and encourage you to keep pushing boundaries,” he stated.

Also speaking at the event, Dinah Kaleo-Bioh, Head of Business & Commercial Banking and a long-time Toastmasters advocate, shared how the platform has transformed her personally. “Toastmasters has changed my life. On behalf of the team, we express our gratitude and look forward to deeper collaboration to further drive the bank’s mission and vision.”
